The distribution network is undergoing unprecedented transformation. The Guiding Opinions on the High Quality Development of Distribution Networks under the New Situation further clarify that by 2025, the carrying capacity and flexibility of distribution networks will be significantly improved, with a distributed new energy capacity of about 500 million kilowatts and a charging pile access capacity of about 12 million units. By 2030, the distribution network will achieve multi-level coordination of the main distribution microgrid, massive resource aggregation and interaction, and diverse user plug and play, effectively promoting the integration and development of distributed smart grids and large grids, better meeting the development needs of distributed power generation, new energy storage, and various new business forms, and providing strong support for building a high-quality charging infrastructure system with wide coverage, moderate scale, reasonable structure, and complete functions.
The pressure has come to power grid companies. Recently, an institutional research report circulating in the market predicts that power grid companies are likely to loosen 95% of their consumption red lines to access more new energy.
